Passage notifications are registered on logs to serve as a source for statistics calculations. Logged data are normalised and consolidated.

When asking for a statistical forecast, the skipper specifies the ship type, selects a route, specifies some nautical parameters and the type of day the voyage is planned for (overnight, working day, weekend, and so on).

Statistics based forecasting requires less data from the skipper but does not take the actual traffic situation into account. This module is aimed to be used over the internet by prospective canal users.
